The project of the Zacheta souvenir refers to works from the institution's collection, which was created in the 1970s with educational and exhibition activities in mind. When creating a product for a gallery, I wanted it not to be a material thing, but an object stimulating educational assumptions. I designed AR filters (augmented reality) inspired by the works of artists that are part of the collection. Filters can be shared in applications such as Instagram and Facebook.
The assumption of the project is to publish a weekly photo of one of the works from the collection and substantive information about a given artist, as well as providing an AR filter inspired by this work or its creator. Such action is aimed at encouraging the user to interact with art, arouse interest in artistic creativity and to visit the gallery again or for the first time.
